Our Story

Sidanto is mainly a provider of roasted coffee beans, based in Indonesia. We collaborate with local farmers to offer our customers the best coffee beans that this nation could provide. We currently conduct our production in a plant located in Bogor Regency.

We took our first step in 2018 as a small cafe which took place in Tasikmalaya, West Java. Our ambition gets bigger as the demand of coffee beans rise, which drove us to establish our own roastery in 2020. Launched in a garage, we currently conduct our processes in a production plant with an annual capacity of 10 tons.

Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources including coffee. In fact, it is home to numerous high quality coffee beans, some of which are best known in the world. And one of which is sourced from the mountains around Lake Toba. Sidanto is the acronym of 'Sekitar Danau Toba' which translates to ‘around Lake Toba’. Our philosophy goes along with a coffee variance cultivated around the Toba lake, mandheling coffee. It was the first arabica coffee cultivated in the area and represents the best coffees from Sumatra. Despite not being the first, Sidanto aims to be able to present the best coffee that this nation could provide to our customers.
